What is the reason for hiring additional candidate? Two long-time internal medicine physicians in the community are retiring summer 2010.
SALARY: YEAR ONE: $180,000+. Once this salary level is achieved, the WRVU compensation model may begin, even if this occurs before the end of the first year.
The employed internal medicine physicians in the community currently are earning between $193,000 and $220,000 on the WRVU compensation model.
1 year, with annual renewal thereafter under a mutually agreed upon work relative value unit (WRVU) compensation model

Dallas based 31 Provider MSG seeks an Internal Medicine physician for 2010. The longest tenured, senior member of their 3 physician internal medicine department has indicated his plans to retire from full time office practice in 2010.
Opportunities exist for nursing home patient care in addition to the office practice. Physicians use a Hospitalist Group for inpatient admissions.
Group provides complete in-house laboratory, most radiology services (no MRI, yet!) and complete cardiovascular diagnostic testing including nuclear stress. Organization utilizes a variet y of information technologies to enhance the operations of the practice from GE, AllScripts, Phytel, Antek, Viztek, etc. The group is fully compliant with the EMR guidelines in the recent HITECH Act in order to participate in the Economic Stimulus funds available to physicians beginning in 2011.
